Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment Range

Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment (FP) is a clear water based wood treatment for the combined eradication of the two main enemies of timber, rot and insect attack. Drying time can vary from 2 to 5 days under average temperature and with good ventilation, but longer under less favourable conditions. 6 to 8 weeks before laying certain types of floor covering.

How to Apply:

Wherever possible dip timber in fluid for at least 3 minutes, Otherwise apply uniformly to wooden ends and joints with at least two coats. Apply the second coat after the previous coat has soaked in but before it is dry. Re-treat any surfaces cut after treatment.

After fully dry, glues, fillers and knotting can be used as normal. Bitumen, rubber and some plastic based materials may soften or swell on contact with fluid or solvent vapour.

Note: The application of this product may cause darkening of some timbers. If colour is critical, try a test area first and allow to dry fully to ensure final appearance is acceptable.
