Ronseal No Rust Metal Paint Smooth Range

I bought the hammerite dark green and thought that was nearly black so I was a bit worried about buying this "dark green" without seeing it. Very happy with the colour. It is dark green, but it's a very nice dark green if that's possible. It looks luxurious and has a very nice glossy finish. I'd definately buy this product again.

Certainly did as they say on the tin. Brief wire brushing followed by single coat refurbished my gates brilliantly. Only issue was I bought two tins when one would have been ample . Still I will find home or use for the remainder in due course. First class product so far.

Hello i was very happy with the delivery and price of the product, but had a nightmare when i started using the paint. It states on the tin to re coat before 8 hrs but did this three times on my metal posts [ removing the paint each time ] and it reacted every time of course this was over the Xmas holiday so could not contact Ronseal for advice about this.
After Xmas i contacted them and spoke to someone in there technical department who told me i was leaving it too long between coats and to re coat before six hours or after fourteen days, not got round to painting the gates yet but will have to give it a go.
Hopefully this will save other people some time and money, I had to learn the hard way.
