Only sealer I could find for MDF that was clear (WOnly sealer I could find for MDF that was clear (We wanted the Dark Brown of the MDF as part of the Finish) We finished it off with the Rustins Clear Satin Varnish.

Thought I would try this when water damage causedThought I would try this when water damage caused a MDF window shelf to blow and thought only option was to replace but after sanding down the top of the shelf and sealing with MDF sealer then finished with under coat and gloss the shelf good as new
