There are times when a special tool designed for the job and regretfully this was one. Changing water pump for a domestic central heating system is not usually a game breaker but when the install plumber placed the pump in as difficult a place as he could find then yes it is!
This spanner provided the required leverage. Adjustable pipe wrenches just did not fit and in any event compressed the nuts and made life even more difficult.
Handy to keep in the tool box but in reality will not use it that often.
Worth the money to enable the job to be done
