A good solid well built machine and easy to operate on the MDF type flooring I have been fitting. Requires a reasonable bit of strength to perform the cut but not excessive.
I was surprised that the guillotine blade was so roughly finished and think that a sharper edge here would make the cut cleaner and the handle easier to operate. I may yet clean up the blade and see if that improves matters.
The big plus is that it is quicker and cleaner than sawing and therefore keeps MDF dust under control. It is limited in that it is only suitable for cutting whole planks to length.
However I think it is good value for money and has proved useful.
