I am a repair electrician working for two charities, one in York the other in Harrogate. The Harrogate charity bought a microwave leak detector for around £80.00. The York charity occassionally borrowed it. When I saw the Faithfull detector available for under £6 including postage, I bought one for the York Charity. I compared the Faithfull's results with the Harrogate charity's leak detector results. On several examples the Harrogate detector indicated the microwave was faulty, the Faithfull's pointer stayed in the safe range. This Faithfull may be a rogue detector, but I should have remembered the old saying of you get what you pay for.
