I have used 2 coats of the satin varnish on wallpaper and wood paneling in my bathroom.and finished it off with a coat of dead flat varnish.
The dead flat finish has removed the shine off the paper and wood and you cannot tell it has been coated with varnish at all. I am really pleased with the results.
I found using a brush left a few brush marks but finished the last coat with a foam roller which left a better finish. I also feel confident that my paper and wood have some water protection
