Everbuild 825 brick red Tecnic Silicone Sealant is a low modulus, neutral curing silicone based on a filled alkoxy system, specifically designed to provide extended tooling time for larger joints. Compliant with ISO11600 Class F25LM and G25LM, This product is ideal for expansion joints in brick, stone, concrete, and composite panels, perimeter pointing around various window and door frames, and effective weatherproofing in most outdoor settings. It also excels in construction and dilation joints where stress only arises after full curing.

USES:

• Internal and external perimeter pointing around PVCu, wood, and powder-coated aluminium.
• As a sealant and adhesive for PVCu, plastic trims, and components. Effective on soft metals like lead, copper, and zinc.
• Suitable for weather sealing, joint sealing to pre-formed panels, curtain walling, and draught proofing.
• Seals between glass and glass or glass and aluminium; excellent for parapet and roof weather sealing.
• Ideal for precast concrete and masonry products, including brick, natural stone, and terracotta, and as an expansion joint sealant.
• Also used in the bedding and sealing of Insulated Glass units.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: While it generally does not require a primer for most surfaces, performing adhesion tests before full application is advised. Use Sikaflex Primer 3N for porous surfaces or submerged joints, and Sika Aktivator 205 for better adhesion to non-porous surfaces.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Not compatible with bitumen, asphalt, neoprene, and some organic elastomers.
• Unsuitable for aquarium manufacturing or on surfaces that emit oils, solvents, or plasticisers.
• Not overpaintable and not recommended as a mirror adhesive.
• Should not be used in swimming pool joints or in food-grade applications use Silicone 565 Clean Room Silicone instead.
• Risk of yellowing if exposed to bleach or HCl-based brick cleaners while curing.
