Everbuild General Purpose Silicone sealant (Brown) offers a mid modulus, flexible sealant solution that adheres strongly to most smooth and non-porous materials. Incorporating an anti-fungal compound, it effectively prevents mould growth and ensures a robust, waterproof seal. General Purpose Silicone is perfect for draught proofing as well as use in kitchens and bathrooms, ideal for sealing sinks, showers, baths, and more.

USES:

• Sealing around baths, showers, basins, and other sanitary ware.
• Adhesive for PVCu trims, cladding, and panels.
• Sealing around worktops and laminates.
• For sealing aluminium gutters.
• General draught proofing.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust. Remove any loose material or old sealant before application. Clean non-porous surfaces like glass or metals with a suitable solvent. Test porous surfaces for primer necessity.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Not suitable for aquariums, use Everflex Aquamate instead.
• Avoid use with bitumen or asphalt; use Weathermate.
• Not for highly porous surfaces like fresh concrete without priming; consider Silicone 450.
• Avoid on materials that may leach oils or plasticisers.
• Not recommended near the edge sealant of double glazed units or for perimeter pointing of uPVC.
• Not suitable for soft metals; use Leadmate Silicne.
• Not overpaintable.
