Everbuild Puraflex 25 Grey Building Sealant 300ml

Superb one-part low modulus construction sealant Everbuild Tecnic Puraflex 25 uses cutting edge polyurethane technology. This product is CE marked under EN15651-1: 2012 Type F Ext-Int CC and complies to ISO11600 25LM. Puraflex 25 firmly clings to a range of building materials including concrete, ceramics, wood, metal and UPVC and excels in sealing most construction expansion and dilatation joints.

USES:

• Include both vertical and horizontal construction, expansion, and dilation joints in brickwork, stone, and concrete buildings.
• Works well for pointing and the perimeter joints of wooden door and window frames. Ideal for capping beaded glazing systems;
• Also useful for pointing and sealing roofing applications, composite panels, metal panels, and steel constructions.
• Useful for pointing and sealing precast concrete panels.
• Useable in floor joints with less usage.

BENEFITS:

• Gives most building substrates outstanding adherence. Overpaintable; early testing advised.
• No odour and solvent free.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Not appropriate for surfaces that leak plasticisers or oils.
• To use with bitumen or asphalt, use Weathermate instead.
• Not advised as a mirror adhesive or in aquariums.
• Before applying extensively, make sure it works with every substrate and paint system.
• May cause alkyd paints to take longer to cure; if using water-based paints, overpaint within 24 hours.
• Not to be used on Teflon, Polyethylene, or Polypropylene. Before using most plastics, especially uPVC and ABS, do adhesion tests because of their variable quality.
• Not for use in swimming pools or for joints that are constantly submerged in water.
• Prior to the sealant completely curing, do not move portable assemblies.
