They have a specially engineered triangular shank to prevent drill seizure. When drilling with this bit you should always use a low speed setting for maximum efficiency, meaning that no additional cooling source is required. Suitable for use with rotary drills and drill drivers into all types of tiles, including porcelain, granite and marble.

These drill bits are favoured by professional tilers as they provide a more consistent and longer lasting performance that traditional spade tipped tile drills and also many of the mini core style drill bits. A 4.0 x 85mm pilot drill is recommended before drilling with larger sizes.
