These are really excellent in both quality and use. They extend from 68-102cm and weigh exactly 1.6kg and easily cut branches up to 75mm, over this diameter the lopper starts to get much harder to use and the handles need to be spread well apart to accept that size of branch. However 50mm branches can be rapidly cut into small sections with ease even by an oldie like me! Being square aluminium solid castings the light weight is a big plus as I found steel loppers just a little heavier made my arms ache, particularly on overhead branches. The length adjustment works at the push of a button to move the handle(s) back and forth into four 'notches' so extremely quick and very positive latching, you also do not wack your hands together as heavy branches finally 'snap' cut. These are also sold by other outlets under the Alan Titchmarsh brand with different coloured nylon bits at a much higher price, but just as excellent.

Well made, tough cutters with a big cutting capacity all at a great price which I use commercially. Have precise button lock extending handles which are preferable to cutters with a twist lock system, because over time they can loosen off and fail to lock properly. Very good product would recommend.
