I bought this for dismantling pallets, having found other methods, such as a reciprocating saw or a crowbar, frustrating and time consuming. I haven't used any other lifting bars, so I cannot compare on that basis, but when it arrived, I found it to be sturdy, with good build quality. Having used it, the Roughneck Demolition and Lifting Bar is now my go to tool for pallets and it now only takes me about 10 minutes to dismantle a pallet, just leaving me the time it takes to get the nails out. Overall I have found it to be excellent and perfectly suited to the task.
