Soudal Silirub N Clear Neutral Silicone Sealant 300ml

Excellent, elastic, neutral-cure silicone joint sealant is Soudal Silirub N (Clear). This adaptable product is made especially to satisfy the requirements of several sealing applications.

USES:

• Ideal for construction of joints with a lot of mobility.
• Effective for expansion joints across many building materials.
• Suitable for glazing and other joint works.
• Seals gaps between glass, metal profiles, treated wood, and PVC.

BENEFITS:

• Easily applied; after curing, stays permanently elastic;
• Excellent adhesion to a range of materials MEKO free, ensuring safer use;
• UV-resistant and very resistant to ageing;
• Not appropriate for painting; not advised for use on natural stone.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Using a manual, battery-powered, or pneumatic caulking gun, apply this sealant evenly to prevent air pockets. Using a spatula and a finishing solution to smooth the sealant, be careful not to allow the solution get in the way of the sealant and joint edges.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Apply with Silirub MA or Silirub+ S8800 instead of applying on natural stones like granite or marble.
• Avoid coming into touch with the PVB films of safety glass or the secondary seal of insulating glass.
• Test adhesion of sensitive materials including PVC, textured coatings, and aluminium lacquers.
• Take note that white sealants will go back to their original colour in sunlight but may fade in acidic conditions or low light.
• To guarantee correct adhesion, keep finishing solutions away from the joint surfaces.
• Not to be used on polycarbonate or in continually submerged conditions; in these situations, use Silirub PC.
• Make sure any sealer you have already used has had time to cure completely before applying another.
• For many sealing problems, Soudal Silirub N offers a strong, flexible seal that is resistant to environmental influences and has wide compatibility.
