Soudal Surface Activator (Clear) is a premium degreaser and adhesion promoter designed to enhance the bonding process.

USES:

• Improves adhesion.
• Degreasing surfaces in sealant or bonding applications.
• Enhances adhesion on powder-coated aluminum (window profiles), both regular and textured coatings.
• Improves adhesion on various plastics: PVC, ABS.

BENEFITS:

• Enhances adhesion on non-porous substrates of silicones, MS, and SMX-based sealants.
• Not suitable for use with PU sealants.
• Suitable for powder-coated and anodized aluminum (window) profiles.
• Ready to use and very user-friendly.
• Fast drying process with low consumption.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Re-seal immediately after use of Surface Activator. Long-term air contact reduces its effectiveness.
• Close the packaging well after use to maintain product integrity. Never pour used remains back into the packaging.
• Apply the activator with a cloth soaked in the product, always working with a clean cloth to avoid contamination. Replace the cloth if necessary and wipe in one direction.
• Allow the surface to dry sufficiently before applying the sealant. The adhesive needs to be applied within 8 hours after using the activator.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Due to the wide variety of plastics and paints, a preliminary compatibility test is recommended to avoid surface damage.
• Not suitable for use on porous surfaces like wooden constructions.
• Soudal Surface Activator leaves a white haze on the surface, which should only be applied to the bonded area.
• Store below 25 degrees celsius to ensure the product remains usable until its expiration date.
