Everbuild Everflex 500 Bath & Sanitary Silicone is an acetoxy cure silicone sealant that cures quickly to provide a permanently flexible, high-strength waterproof seal. Specifically designed for sanitary applications and areas of high humidity, it contains a powerful fungicide to prevent mould growth.

USES:

• Internal sealing in high-humidity or condensation-prone areas.
• Sealing around baths, showers, basins, and sanitaryware.
• Sealing around worktops and laminates.
• Cap sealing to metal, timber, and PVCu window frames.
• Adhesive for fixing PVCu trims and panels.
• General weatherproofing applications.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Everflex 500 bath & sanitary siliconeAll surfaces must be clean, dry, and dust-free. Remove all loose or flaking surface coatings, old sealant, and mastic joints before application. Clean glass, metal, and aluminium with a proprietary solvent cleaner for optimum adhesion. Porous surfaces may require priming-test a small area first.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Not for use with bitumen or asphalt; use Weather Mate instead.
• Not suitable for highly porous surfaces like new concrete or stonework; prime or use SILICONE 450.
• Avoid substrates that may bleed oils, solvents, or plasticizers.
• Do not use near or with the edge sealant of double-glazed units; use SILICONE 450.
• Not suitable for perimeter pointing of uPVC; use SILICONE HM60 or SILICONE 450.
• Do not use on soft metals such as lead or brass; use Lead Mate sealant.
• Non-overpaintable; if overpainting is required, use Weather Mate.
