Everbuild Everflex Weathermate Multipurpose (White) Sealant is made to resist severe weather. Its composition maintains it always flexible and permits use in moist environments, even underwater. Perfect for use outdoors, Everbuild Weathermate dries clear to take most paints and stains. It sticks strongly to a variety of standard surfaces and is available in clear, black or white.

USES:

• Among the difficult surfaces Everbuild Weather Mate Sealant adheres to well are bitumen, lead, and galvanised steel.
• Especially for timber frames that could need staining, ideal for filling in perimeter gaps.
• Seals and joins gutter systems of various kinds.
• For repairing cracks in stone, tiles, and slates.
• This is perfect for external sealing applications like metal and composite roof and wall panels because of its robust lap joint bond.
• Can be used to improve weatherproofing over existing sealants, putties, and mastics and for general industrial metal panel bonding.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure dust and grime, as well as flaking materials, are off all surfaces. Use a solvent cleaner to clean glass, metal and aluminium for best adhesion. Using a standard sealant gun, tilt it 45 degrees, and apply. For best bonding, tool down right away after application, especially on moist surfaces. The sealant takes around 24 hours to cure. Use Everbuild White Spirit when cleaning instruments containing uncured material; cured material should be manually removed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Suitable exclusively for outside use; not suitable for use within food processing plants. Use carefully in aquariums and on natural stones where the sealer may react.
• Use over bitumen or asphalt could stain, especially the translucent and white grades; this has no bearing on the product's performance.
