Everbuild Joint Backer Rod 30mm, also known as Sika Backer Rod Fire is a circular, compressible, mineral wool-based backing rod wrapped with a glass fibre yarn, designed for specific sealing needs.

USES:

• 30mm backer rod for fire-resistant joint sealing in horizontal and vertical building structures.
• Everbuild Joint Backer Rod 30mm can be used with any Sika sealant, including all Sika-owned brands.

Place the oversized backer rod into the joint and push with a blunt tool to fit tightly against the joint sides at the required depth. Seal the joint with a Sika sealant.
