APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Correct surface preparation is essential for best results. Make sure every surface is dry, spotless, and free of impurities including grease, oil, and dust. Sika Pool Sealant normally sticks nicely without primers or activators. Still, it is advised to improve surface preparation for demanding or stressful applications:

• Thoroughly clean the surfaces to remove anything that could interfere with adherence.
• Use Sika Primer-3 N to enhance adhesion on porous materials. Use Sika Aktivator-205 to guarantee a solid bond on non-porous surfaces.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• For best adhesion and performance, always run a compatibility test with the materials to be sealed.
• Apply sealant with a manual or pneumatic caulking gun, then smooth and even the finish with a putty knife or spatula.
• Use Sika Cleaner 205 or another appropriate cleaner to remove any leftover sealer right away after application to prevent it from curing.
